πβ¨ Rice, Rice, Baby! (A Trio of Treats) β¨π
Join Lalita to learn how to create three fantastic vegetarian rice dishes.
1. Egg Rice: This is a straightforward recipe using eggs, onions, garlic, and a few fragrant spices. You could also add roasted peanut powder for an extra touch.
2. Vegetable Suete: A colourful vegetable rice made with ginger-garlic paste, onions, peppers, and any other vegetables you enjoy. This can also be easily adapted to feature just one vegetable, like spinach.
3. Lemon Rice (Tempered): A flavourful dish with fresh lemon, curry leaves, and green chillies, along with a tempering of mustard seeds and cumin. As a variation, you could also use tamarind paste instead of lemon.
π This class will be held in the Kaiapoi High School Hospitality Kitchen.
ποΈ Tickets are $25 per student. There is a limit of 20 people, so be in quick to secure your place! β³
