Registration is required. Click the Tickets link above, or visit the libraries to reserve your spot.
Sarah of Ludington's Four Directions Alchemy will lead a Sound Bath Experience at Ludington Library. Sound therapy has been used for at least 40,000 years. The vibration of healing sound tools facilitate full body relaxation resulting in many health benefits. Adults are welcome to join us for 1 hour of bliss. Sarah will also speak about the benefits of sound therapy.
For your comfort, please bring any combination of the following: a yoga mat, blankets, pillows, bolster, warm socks, and an eye mask to create a cozy "nest" to fully relax and enjoy the experience.
Note-worthy: an eye mask can help to block out extra sensory input, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the sound and vibration. You will get cold, bring a warm blanket (everyone gets cold, even during warm weather).
If the floor is not for you, please bring a comfy collapsible chair, i.e. a gravity lawn chair.
All Mason County District Library programs are free to attend; however, they are funded through the generosity of our community. If inclined, donations are gratefully accepted via cash, check or credit card at the libraries, through PayPal at paypal.me/mcdlibrary, or by contribution to the Robert Dickson MCD Library Endowment Fund through the Mason County Community Foundation.
