This course starts off with a tour of the Hat Shop where you will see up close raw materials and items used to create hats from scratch.

During the course you will:
- Wand steam the straw to form over a hat block
- Blocking both the crown and the brim separately
- Hand sew the crown and brim together.
- It will be finished with a sweat band in the crown and any embellishments one chooses.
