The practical use of dolls in magic

This moot will be a blend of discussion and practical workshop. During the first half of the evening we will discuss what doll magic is, how it's used in British folk magic vs other cultures, the process of making a doll and what to do with your doll once it's made.
During the second half of the evening you will be given the opportunity to make a simple doll following the processes discussed earlier in the evening. For this, the moot will provide the basic materials, but if you want to include something particular, please bring it along. This may include someone's (or your) clothing/fabric, beads, charms, particular plant matter, etc.
Doors open at 7pm, entry is £2 and includes your first hot drink. There will be a small community shop with incense, handmade pendants, dolls, bags and many other items.
