This festive period, Belton Park Pavilion invites the local community to come together in love, remembrance, and support with the new additional to its already successful Calendar of Christmas events: Lights of Love β Tree of Light β a stunning Christmas tree display dedicated to those we love and hold dear, whether they are no longer with us or still by our sides.
Located in a prominent position at the Pavilion and Playing Fields, the Lights of Love Tree of Light will shine throughout the festive season, with lights representing your love for someone close to you.
What started as a request from the public for a traditional Christmas Market has as ever grown into something more poignant. We have always felt a bit in the dark at Christmas at the Pavilion and we really wanted to transform our space to compliment other amazing village festive activities.
This special tree of light will be adorned with snowflakes and pinecones , each representing a display of love of a loved one as well as sponsorship from local businesses who are keen to support a truly local project.
How does it work?
You can dedicate a snowflake or pinecone to hang on the tree β in honour of someone you hold dear.
Whether theyβre no longer with us or still by your side, your dedication will be part of a glowing community tribute that celebrates love in all its forms.
Members of the community are invited to make a donation in memory of someone special, with all funds raised going toward not just Belton Park Pavilion but other soon to be announced local registered charities.
