8th Annual SAL Rib Cook Off (sanctioned by the Rib Cook Off Association)

The Sons of the American Legion Post 1977 are having our 8th annual rib cook off event on August 16th this year. We have changed the format and will no longer using the same rules and judging guidance from the KCBS, We have decided to partner with the "Rib Cook Off Association" and will be using their rules and judging guidelines.
We would like to stress that we still welcome regular backyard cooks to compete, however, because it is now sanctioned, cooks from across the country could be competing as well to earn points towards the RCOA World Championship.
If you are a BBQ enthusiast and would be interested in a day of fun, patriotism and fundraising for our veteran community, then this is for you!
