MFPGP will host our second Koorie Market on Saturday, July 26, from 11am to 2pm. This market aims to showcase local First Peoples artists and creators to the Inner East community including crafts, arts stalls, food, coffee cart, sasuage sizzle, entertainment and more! It will highlight and celebrate local First Peoples’ culture and strengthen the future of this gathering place in the Inner East. Everyone is welcome!

Murnong First Peoples Gathering Place (MFPGP) was established in 2023 and provides a safe gathering place for First Peoples children, families, and adults in the Inner East of Melbourne. MFPGP also offers opportunities for non-Aboriginal community members to engage in educational opportunities, fostering a deeper understanding of the histories, culture and experiences of local First Peoples, so we can walk together.
