Volunteer your time at The Dogbox Project

In celebration of Mandela Day, Capegate Shopping Centre has partnered with The Dogbox Project to give back to animal shelters in need.

The Dogbox Project kicked off in 2012 as a Mandela Day initiative and has since become an ongoing project due to the demand and needs of local animal shelters.

Blankets, food and kennels are in need. Kennels being the most costly, there are many animal shelters that are unable to afford these.

With this in mind The Dogbox Project partners with local business to sponsor the costs of these kennels for the public to then paint on the day, participants donate their time by spending 67 minutes towards a worthy cause.

With your participation, we will be able to change the lives of so many dogs that will now be able to be warm and dry in the winter but also cool in the hot summer season.
