JULY – End Of Month Charity Session Supporting Sarz Sanctuary
VFH is incredibly proud to be supporting Sarz Sanctuary – The Sarz Spirit Foundation as our July Charity of the Month. This cause holds a special place in our hearts, and we’ve been honoured to support it over the years.
Sarz Sanctuary is dedicated to helping individuals affected by traumatic grief, PTSD, and secondary trauma, providing vital support to those navigating unimaginable loss.
The Annual Sarz Sanctuary Bike Ride – “Meet You in Paris”
Each year, our EOM charity session transforms into a virtual team bike ride at VFH, where together, we will be riding 2100km—in honour of Sara and the “Meet You in Paris” fundraiser.

EOM CHARITY SESSION
Date: Saturday 26th July
Time: 7:00am
Location: VFH Capalaba – Wynnum crew, we’ll see you there too!
Who: Members, friends, family, and our wider community – all are welcome
THE CHALLENGE
Goal: Ride a total of 2100km across 26 bikes as a community!
- Teams of 5 will be allocated to a bike
- Bikes are split into 3 categories:
8 x Bike Ergs – Beginner/ 9 x Assault Bikes – Intermediate/ 9 x Echo Bikes – Advanced
- Each bike team will aim to complete ~78km per bike
This will be our BIGGEST EOM Sarz event yet, with both gyms coming together to ride for an incredible cause.
HOW TO REGISTER
Grab your teammates (up to 5 per team) and sign up on the whiteboards at either gym! Spots will go quickly, so get in early. Cost: $20 per person – 100% of proceeds go directly to Sarz Sanctuary.
