July is Disability Pride Month, and this year marks 35 years since the passing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in 1990. The ADA is a federal civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities in everyday activities and guarantees equal opportunities in employment, obtaining services, participation in state and local government programs, and more.
Join us for an in-person event celebrating Disability Pride Month! This lunch & learn will include a showing of the film The R-Word by Amanda Lukoff, and lunch will be provided by Barista Blues Cafe.
