The Central Arkansas Beer Choir is headed back to The Rogue Roundabout!

Beer choir is a national singing movement, and Hendrix College has sponsored the first-ever Arkansas Chapter right here in Conway called Central Arkansas Beer Choir. It is led by Andy Morgan, Associate Professor of Music and Director of the Hendrix Choir.

The world of singing and craft beer will collide again in Downtown Conway on Saturday, August 16th from 7-8:30PM at 804 Chestnut St!

The event is free to attend, and attendees are encouraged to sing along, lift their voices, and simply enjoy the company of others while also enjoying their food and beverage of choice.

The group will gather in our coffee shop area during normal operating hours, so if you’re not quite sure about participating, you can absolutely just come to watch and listen too!

More about Beer Choir from the National organization’s website:
Beer Choir is a national singing movement founded by composer Michael Engelhardt in 2015. If you like beer, and you like singing, you’ll love Beer Choir. All are welcome to join in with the proprietary Beer Choir Hymnal, a songbook of 40 drinking song classics, original works, and favorite melodies updated with irreverent lyrics. Beer Advocate Magazine notes “ [this] merry band of vocal enthusiasts have tapped into something deeper and broader than expected.”
This isn’t like your traditional choir - if you show up the night of a Beer Choir event, you ARE the choir! No singing experienced required, just come and sing, hydrate, and laugh together!
