We are happy to announce we are once again hosting two creativity camps this summer at The Grand. This year, we are excited to welcome teaching artists Bridget Gusso and Tegan Daly to our lineup of teachers. Ed Fornberg and Rhonda Johnson will be returning to teach once again. Kids will have opportunities to learn printmaking, bookbinding, and ceramics among other projects. See below for more information!
Lunch & Snack Breaks: All classes will take a supervised snack/lunch break during their class. We will provide lunch on day one, but please pack a lunch for all other days. No items with peanuts please!
Camp Attire: As some of the materials we use may stain, please dress your children in appropriate clothing. Additionally, closed toed shoes are required.
Art Project Pickup: Some ceramic and printed projects will need to dry or be fired. Instructors will provide specific pickup information.
Camp Instructors: Our instructors are all trained art educators or artists. Each class will have an instructor and many volunteer assistants at all times. We run thorough background checks on each volunteer and instructor.
Scholarships: We have some scholarships available based on financial need. Please email ZGlyZWN0b3IgfCB0aGVncmFuZG5ld3VsbSAhIG9yZw== if you are interested in scholarship at lease 15 days prior to the session.
