Worlds of Musrara. A City Quest in Jerusalem
July 3 (Thursday) || Start anytime between 16:30–17:30 || Finish by 20:30

Register your team (1–5 people): https://forms.gle/SqxUNxkBkFHQt1RW9

The city quest created for you by Decoding the Cities project is a way to explore Jerusalem on your own terms.

Musrara is a stone palimpsest—scarred by borders, stitched with the cracks of history. It’s a place where old Arab houses stand beside concrete apartment blocks, where secret courtyards hide behind neo-Gothic churches, with stubborn geraniums blooming in defiance. It’s a neighborhood where the ghostly shadows of the Black Panthers still haunt the art students painting the walls and fences.

How the game works:

At the starting point, each participant or team receives a list of checkpoints, each with a question. Some are marked by addresses, others by riddles. Your goal is to answer all the questions by visiting each checkpoint. The game isn’t timed for speed, but there is a final cutoff.

Estimated game time: 3 hours. Walking route: no more than 5 km.
Kids and dogs are welcome. Wheeled transport is not.

Game authors and organizers: Sasha Skvortsova (bWFtYSAhIGJlbGthIHwgZ21haWwgISBjb20=) & Simon Parizhsky (cGFyaXpoIHwgZ21haWwgISBjb20=)

Participation is free, but we welcome donations at the end of the game.
