Positive Ageing Expo || Cairns Performing Arts Centre

The Positive Ageing Expo in Cairns is an annual event designed to connect older adults and their carers with local service providers, businesses, and community groups that support healthy and active ageing.

This free event provides a valuable opportunity to discover a wide range of resources and services tailored to the needs of seniors.

Held from 9am to 1pm, the Expo offers attendees the chance to explore information stands, speak directly with service providers, and learn more about what's available in the community to support wellbeing and independence in later life.

The event also features live entertainment for seniors from 11am to 12pm, with the Rowly & Co Band performing classic hits from Neil Diamond and Roy Orbison.

A free, sit-down lunch will be served in the Studio from 12pm to 2pm, exclusively for seniors. Please note that tickets are required for both the entertainment and lunch. While the Expo is open to the general public, the entertainment and lunch are reserved for senior attendees.

The Positive Ageing Expo is a welcoming and informative event that promotes the benefits of staying engaged, informed, and connected throughout the ageing journey.
