Special guests Chip Herrington and Cori Walters join Phil & Foster for another knockout Wednesday night of music at Callaghan's! This will be a unique night featuring original rock, folk, blues, and bluegrass PLUS some classic jazz and a whole lot of spontaneity!
A local legend, Herrington (trumpet, harmonica, vocals) leads the Mobile Big Band Society as well as the Chip Herrington Jazz5 and is a member of Wet Willie's Hurricane Horns. Chip can also sometimes be caught onstage in impromptu jams with Phil & Foster, so this will be an extra special night for all!
Cori Walters (drums) is an Alabama native who relocated to New Orleans in the 90s and has become a mainstay on the jazz scene in the Big Easy. Leading the Universe Jazz Band, teaching at the Young Audiences Charter School in New Orleans, working as percussion instructor at Xavier University of Louisiana, and being an in-demand drummer and percussionist throughout the region is testament to her abilities, professionalism, and personality.
