Letterpress Tarot Card Printing Class

Hands-on tarot card letterpress printing class in the Book Arts Studio!

In this class, you’ll make your own letterpress tarot or oracle card, while learning how to use the platen press or various proof presses in the Book Arts Studio to make small prints. We will talk about typesetting basics, as well as divinatory symbolism, and the teaching artist will help you design a simple one color card that you’ll print yourself. Everyone will end up with a mini oracle deck featuring each of the cards made in class!

Things to note:
• Makers of all skill levels are welcome. This class is suitable for ages teen+.
• All necessary tools to participate are provided. Optional: come with an idea for your card, or be inspired by imagery in our Studio!
