The Ellison Lab in the Department of Plant and Agroecosystem Sciences invites you to the 2025 Hemp Field Day for the latest hemp research being conducted at UW. Coffee and donuts will be available starting at 8:30 am.
Presentations will be given by UW faculty, staff, and extension specialists. The topics include:
-Industrial (Grain/Fiber) Hemp Variety Trials with Dr. Shelby Ellison and Phillip Alberti
-High Cannabinoid Hemp Variety Trials with Phillip Alberti
-Grain/Fiber Breeding Updates with Dr. Shelby Ellison, Dr. Ademola Aina, and Jillian McGee
-Insect Pest Population and Damage Survey with Sophie Perry
-Cover Cropping in Hemp with Grace Connelly
-Hemp Processing Demonstration with Marianna Fairbanks & more!
