STEM in the Garden: Teacher Training Series

Alabama Extension’s Home Grounds Team knows that for a school’s outdoor classroom to be successful, the garden must be grown and maintained correctly. STEM in the Garden will train teachers on basic gardening principles, ways to align the Alabama gardening calendar with your school year calendar, and solutions to common problems associated with outdoor classrooms. Strengthen your garden knowledge and maximize your school garden’s STEM teaching capabilities. This class is open to anyone who works with school gardens, including teachers, school staff, school garden volunteers, master gardeners.

Six CEU credits are available through PowerSchool. Register by July 29.
