**Artist BIOS:**

**Anna Stump** is an artist and arts educator based out of Twentynine Palms, California. Stump’s painting practice is inspired by her experiences with found debris on her rural property as well as the unique wildlife of the Mojave Desert that surrounds her. In 2021, she launched a social project called Mojaveland, which combines art and sports to engage the community through monthly pop-up events. In 2023, she showcased a portable Mojaveland golf hole at the Mexicali Biennial and plans to develop a dedicated Miniature Golf and Art Center in Twentynine Palms, with redevelopment scheduled for 2025.

**Daphne Hill** grew up on a 40-acre riverside farm in East Tennessee, which, despite its beauty, often felt lonely. Seeking connection through art, she earned a BFA in Drawing from the University of Tennessee and an MFA in Painting from Claremont Graduate University. Her mixed media paintings explore the human condition and the comfort of mathematics in chaos. She is also part of the painting collaboration Hill & Stump, now in its fifteenth year. Her works have been exhibited both nationally and internationally and are included in various private and corporate collections worldwide.

**Xenia Y Smith (XYZ)** is a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in the SF Bay Area, now residing and working in Yucca Valley. She is a screen printer by trade, as well as a self taught oil painter and film photographer. Her work is inspired by food, travel, dream journals, and every day life.
