Join us on the famous Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge.
The challenge is a 25 mile hike in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, climbing -
Pen-y-gent = 2217 ft
Wearnside = 2415 ft
Ingleborough = 2372 ft
All to be done in 12 hours.
Please only attempt this challenge if you are an experienced hiker with a good level of fitness.
Tickets for this event are £25.
This payment is non-refundable..
We will have two breaks on the hike.
The first will be at Ribblehrad Viaduct, a great spot. Nice pub/picnic area with lots of opportunities to take pics of the viaduct, one of the highlights of the walk.
The second break will be between the 2nd and 3rd peaks, here we can top up energy levels before our tired legs take on Ingleborough!
Please bring waterproofs and plenty of layers. 4 seasons in a day is not uncommon on this hike.
Also, bring plenty of water and food to sustain you, we won't be passing any shops on this hike.
Accommodation ---
It's up to you to arrange your own accommodation. Bear in mind the walks starts Saturday morning at 6am......
The last couple of times I have stayed here, many of us have stayed at Dalesbridge Campsite, which is a 6 mile/15 min drive to the start location. They have a variety of 6 and 4 birth cabins, pods, plus motorhome and camping spaces. They also do nice wood fired pizzas and have a bar.
