Chaplains' Conference

The Chaplains' conference is hosted by the Grand Lodge Chaplains' Committee in Brownlow House, Lurgan on Saturday, 27th September 2025 for Chaplains of County and District Lodges on the subject of evangelism within the Institution.
Starting at 9.30am and finishing up after lunch at 1.30 pm, matters covered will include topics on "Why Evangelise?", "Opportunities for Evangelism" and a presentation on "Hope Explored", an excellent course suitable for use by Lodges, Districts and Counties to reach out to our members. Also available will be resources for equipping and supporting Chaplains in their role.
A new handbook specifically for Chaplains within the Institution will be launched at the Conference, a resource which can be used at Lodge meetings.
Notification of the conference has been sent out and whilst the event is principally designed for the benefit of Chaplains at District and County level, any brother who is engaged in Christian outreach or training will be more than welcome to come along.
