Join us at the Chaffee Art Center Friday, July 18th from 5:30-7pm for a stimulating evening with a FREE talk, Connections: Tracks Through Time – Celebrating Rutland’s Railroad Legacy. This compelling program rolls into the Chaffee to inspire today’s community members about the rich history of railroads in Rutland!

Featured Speakers:
- Robert Black: Teacher/Architect, who will give a “Whistle Stop Welcome” to set the stage.
-Paul Andriscin: Long-time History Professor, original member of the Rutland Railway Association and collection curator of the Rutland Railroad Museum will present “Voices from the Platform.”

The evening’s talks promise to stimulate interactive discussions that highlight the many ways the expanding ribbons-of-rails traversed the New England landscape bringing goods, industry and people together to shape the Rutland that we know and love today.
