TRAIL WORK DAY
New alignment, new bridges, new rollers.... and probably a new berm.
Fixing that persistent soggy section and making the approach a bit more fun.
We will install some short timber bridges, raise the height of the trail with lots of fill, add some rollers, dig some new drains and make this high-use section of trail fun to ride. If you can handle a shovel, push a barrow or drive a rake you can help us make a big impact.
Everyone is welcome. No experience is necessary - we provide all the tools and direction. There is a job suitable for everyone.
We want everyone to work safely, to work at their own comfortable pace and have some fun while doing some great work.
TIME: 8.15am to 12.00 midday (approx).
Stay for the duration or stay for an hour - every bit of assistance is always appreciated. Free cold drinks at the end.
MEETING LOCATION: P6 Parking area at the Trailhead.
WHAT TO WEAR AND WHAT TO BRING
Please ensure you have enclosed shoes, comfortable clothes and a hat. Gardening or work gloves can protect your hands
Please bring your own water, snacks and sun protection.
