Come and join us for an afternoon of Live Samba Batucada Music with Movimento Alto
Movimento Alto is a collective of Musicians from a diverse range of backgrounds who have been brought together through their passion for Percussion and studies of the Afro-Brasilian Cultural Accents of music. Blending Batucada, Baião, Samba, Samba Reggae, Bossa Nova, Chorinho, Samba de coco, Barra-Vento and many more into a musical ceremony that will enrich the soul.
We'll take you through the basic instruments of Samba and give you the opportunity to dance to them with some Samba drills, Choreo and Freestyle.
Musicians will be led by Mestre Loki and the dance component by Nichola
This workshop is an Open Level Class but basic level knowledge of the Samba Basic Dance Step is recommended.
