What Does the Student Bring to Class?
Students need 5m of pre-felt and approximately 2 silk georgette saris. Please note there is kit available for this workshop from Little Blue Fibre Studio.
Our local and favourite shop is Little Blue Fibre Studio, located in Edmonton. We have made preliminary arrangements to order prefelt through the shop, as 5 meters per student is required. Little Blue Fibre Studio requests a deposit payment for such a large order, which will result in cost savings for all.
A good source for silk is Sanskritivintage.com; when ordering please specify silk georgette sariβs which are between $30 and $40 CAD. They are efficient at sending very quickly.
