We are gearing up for another Tai Chi series with Doris! The next 4-week series will be on Wednesdays at 6:30 starting on June 18 and ending on July 9!
This four-week series will focus on Yang Style, Long Form of Tai Chi Chuan. As a moving meditation, students will learn basic movements in order to improve balance, reduce stress and impart overall regulation of the body, mind and spirit.
Tai Chi, in particular, is well-known for increasing mental acuity and focus, balancing immune system and organ systems, strengthening the core of the body, lowering blood pressure and reducing stress.
Your Instructor:
Doris-Owanda Johnson, L.Ac. has been studying and practicing Yang-Style Tai Chi Chuan since 1997 with the Tung Academy of Tai Chi Chuan. Along with her acupuncture practice, she enjoys using movement as part of a multifaceted approach to healing to promote balance, health and wellness for all.
