The Intruder

A mysterious stranger (Shatner) arrives in a small Southern town. Pretending to be concerned for the well-being of the local populace, it soon becomes clear that he’s an agitator with a sinister agenda: to whip up violence against the planned integration of public schools. Shot in real danger in the deep South, Roger Corman’s only social justice picture (and reportedly, only film to lose money) still packs a punch.
