Race to Save the War:245th Anniversary of Greene’s Crossing

Join the Living History Association of Rowan County in partnership with Davidson County Parks and Rec as we commemorate the anniversary of Nathanial Greene and Dan Morgan’s “Race to the Dan”. They crossed the river not far from the event site in February 1781. Join us for displays of uniforms and weapons, a skirmish, Revolutionary War artillery, soldiers life, and much more! American freedom was earned not given by the men and women we portray.
