For a Safer Murray Rd

To mark the two-year anniversary of community action for a safer Murray Road, this public meeting will:
* Share the outcomes from the Safer Walking and Riding for Murray Road (SWARM) Community Survey report,
* Outline and mobilise around four key safety asks,
* Hear firsthand stories from those affected,
* Strengthen community connections and coordination across efforts,
* Build momentum to push for a State Government budget allocation to fund urgently needed safety improvements.
The recent crash serves as a timely catalyst. With 14 crashes in six months—and those are just the ones we know about—this meeting invites residents, decision makers, and allies to make noise and make change.
Hosted by Safer Walking and Riding for Murray Rd (SWARM):
* MC/Facilitator: Local resident Tathra Street
* Community Organiser: Cate Hall (contact via SWARM socials)
* Co-host: Cr Nat Abboud (0487 258 0444)
* Speakers include residents and community members affected by Murray Rd danger and crashes
Networking and afternoon tea from 2pm | Meeting starts at 2:30pm sharp.
⚠️Let’s get organised, get vocal, and get results.
