When her eccentric grandmother nearly burns down the family cottage, Adrienne is forced to return home, confronting the small town that remembers her scandal. But with an unexpected offer from local fishmonger Christopher Crane to run a kitchen at her grandfather’s old fish market, Adrienne sees a chance to rebuild her dreams—and maybe even her heart.

Sarah E. Pearsall is a former food writer and columnist for Around Wellington magazine. Her work appears in Sliver of Stone Magazine, Macaroni Kids, Tampa Bay Parenting, and author John Dufresne's online emerging writer series. Sarah has an MFA in creative writing from Florida International University. She is an assistant professor in the First-Year Writing Program at Michigan State University and creative writing at the world-renowned Interlochen Center for the Arts. Sarah grew up on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in Southern Florida, where she draws inspiration from many of her stories.
