Virtual - Bill Gette: Iceland - Exploring the Land of Glaciers and Volcanos

Join us for this 6 part series all about Bill's International Travel Adventures, chatting about the World's Natural Wonders! Located on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge in the North Atlantic, Iceland is a land of active volcanos and extensive glaciers. During his two trips there, Bill photographed the island’s magnificent scenery and abundant wildlife. In the summer, large numbers of shorebirds and seabirds migrate to Iceland to nest. Bill will share his photosgraphs of the nesting cliffs along the Snaefellesnes Peninsula. He’ll also take you to Flatey and Hrisey islands, Geyser, and the world’s first parliament, the Althing. As one of our favorite speakers on the natural world, Bill will wow us with his knowledge and fantastic photographs!
