Speaking again on transitions in life, Autumn Pfister will discuss becoming the wise elder she was looking for in her youth. The elders, who they were, why they were considered elders, and where our elders were missing. I came of age as a queer youth in the 1990ās in college in a conservative town. Who did I look up to as an example of a good life? Iām beginning to realize that I have become the adult, the wise elder with a lifetime of experience to share. How can those of us feeling this transition become the best mentors and elders we can?
