THE SURGE
Get ready for The Surge – racing recharged.
Foremark Reservoir, UK
Tickets Released 1st July

The Surge is a 4-hour lap-based SUP endurance race with a twist:
The final hour (Hour 4) is the Surge Hour, the time to go all in for bonus points based on speed.

You’ll need endurance, timing, and a final-hour kick to take the win.

This one’s for the solo paddlers.
The grinders. The tacticians. The ones who want to know how far they can really go. On their own.

🕓 4 hours of nonstop paddling.
⏱ The final hour is Surge Hour — one explosive chance to earn bonus points and flip the leaderboard.

Every lap counts. But the last hour? That’s where legends are made.

💪 4 Solo categories for hardboard, ISUP, male and female.
👊 No teammates. No tagging out. Just you, your board, and the clock.

Scoring System
* Overall winners are determined by a combination of:

* Speed Lap Performance (Surge points)

Speed Lap – Surge Hour
* Occurs during Hour 4
* Racers’ lap times during this speed lap window are tracked and ranked.
* Only the fastest single lap per racer within each window is eligible. We will track all completed laps and take your fastest and rank.
* You can attempt as many surge laps as you feel able.
* Laps that begin before a Surge Hour and finish after do not count.

Per Category
1st fastest: + 4 surge points
2nd fastest: + 3 surge points
3rd fastest: + 2 surge points
4th fastest + 1 surge point

Final Score Calculation
*The Paddler per category with the highest total score
* Final Score = Total Laps Completed + Surge Points
