Adults age 18+ are invited to join us at the Cumberland County Library for an author talk featuring William J. Lewis on July 10, 6:30-7:30pm.
William J. Lewis's latest work, Preserving the Pines: New Jersey and the Origins of Environmentalism, is a guide to the formation of the Pines we all love so much. This 4th book/guide of his on the Pines completes the 4-volume collection. Mr. Lewis has proven to be a must-read historian, going far beyond what has been written since McPhee's 1967 book The Pine Barrens. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Cumberland County Library organization.
