Our Firemen's cookout will be located at the Fire Station from 11am - 5pm. We will be serving our famous pork chop sandwiches, brats, hot dogs, chips, soda, and water.
The parade line up will begin at 5:30pm at the old school on Main Street. Advance sign up is not needed. Parade begins at 6pm.
The fireworks show will be located at the McMotoPark north of Mount Carroll off Illinois 78 just like last year. There is no parking allowed on Route 78 from North Lowden Road to Elizabeth Road. There is plenty of parking inside the motopark. The public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Food and beverages are permitted. Please remember to respect the grounds and pick up after yourselves.
As always, the fireworks show is paid for from the previous year's donations from the public. Donations for next year can be given to any fireman, dropped off at the Mirror-Democrat, or mailed to the Fire Station at PO Box 194, Mount Carroll, IL 61053.
