Spring Forest Qigong

A gentle way to move, breathe, and feel better—open to all (ages 12+). Drop in and give it a try!

Nancy Osley teaches Spring Forest Qigong, a modern, accessible form of Qigong developed by Master Chunyi Lin. Rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, Spring Forest Qigong combines slow, flowing movements with focused breathing and meditation to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support physical and emotional healing.

The practice is simple and easy to follow. Each movement is designed to awaken the body’s natural energy, improve circulation, and help bring the mind and body into balance. Whether you're brand new to Qigong or returning to your practice, you're welcome to join at any time and move at your own pace.

A waiver will need to be signed before participating but can be signed at the library anytime before your first class. If a 12-17 year old wants to join, we ask that their parent or legal guardian stops by the library to sign the waiver prior to their first class.

If you need accommodations to fully participate, please contact library staff—we’re happy to assist. If you’d like to be on the email list for cancellation notices, please email Cate, Adult Services Librarian, at Y2F0ZWggfCBkZWZvcmVzdGxpYnJhcnkgISBvcmc=.
