Haven't been wheeling In a while? Ever? Time to get out there.
This is private land that is rented for Saturday. The plan is to go up Friday after work hrs, camp across from outpost. this will be primitive camping, you're also welcome to camp at Ure or stay anywhere you like.
Saturday morning we will hit Big Creek, we will be there until sundown so we need to make sure everyone has the drinks and food that they need. Camp again Saturday night and hit up the National Forest on Sunday morning or Saturday night for those who like to night wheel.
to be transparent, it cost $500 to rent for the first 10 rigs then $50 per rig after that. please note that it typically sells out, so we do require deposits in cash or via the club PayPal to reserve your spot. in the event that we do not have 10 people, we would divide up the $500 between however many people decide to go. in the event of inclement weather, we will have everything based on a vote from the group. typically non-refundable from Big Creek
must have a few items to join in this ride
bring all your own food and drink for the day
need to have recovery points front and rear
need to have a fire extinguisher or be paired with someone else that has a fire extinguisher and know how to use it
for those who drive their vehicle to the trail, need to have a spare tire
I recommend bringing sunscreen as it will be July in the south
