Celebrate Main Street Theatre Works' 30th year with Art, Absurdity, and a whole lot of laughs!

"Artifice" is the first show of our summer season at the beautiful Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre. It runs Friday and Saturday nights from 6/20 – 7/19. Gates opening at 6:30, show starts at 8:00pm. Patrons are encouraged to come early with picnic dinners, beverage of choice, chairs, and jackets/blankets.

Maggie La Rue and art gallery manager Richard are putting on the finishing touches on their private showing of paintings by Maggie’s late husband Payne, presumed dead in avalanche. His work, largely ignored in life, has accrued considerable value with his passing, hopefully enough to pay off some sizeable debts. So in a near-blinding snowstorm, Maggie & Richard prepare to host high profile guests, with connections and lots of money. But the evening isn’t going quite as planned, as guests are snowed in, and an unexpected guest, whose timing couldn’t be worse. There’s plenty of intrigue, and plenty of laughs.

The cast includes Julie Anchor, Scott Adams, Margarita Perez, Josie Mendoza, Dennis Curry, Jodie Klemens, Mark Androvich, and Stephanie Dyan.
