Summit on Housing, Financial Wellness and Advocacy

Engage IL is a grassroots coalition by and for families and individuals living with developmental disabilities. We are the only coalition in Illinois that is organized, led, and managed entirely by families and individuals with disabilities.

Engage IL is working to improve the services available to develop ‘Supported Living’ for individuals with disabilities in Illinois, currently ranking 49th in the country in support of this population.

We believe that individuals with disabilities should be able to have a choice about where and how they live, and an equitable investment should be made in their choices.

Engage IL is actively working to change the long-term services and supports for individuals with disabilities in Illinois while aligning with national best practices in community-based Supported Living.
