WI Open Meeting

The Milborne WI welcome you all to an 'open meeting' on Thursday 10th July at the Village Hall. Doors open 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
Amy Stephens, a local villager, will be doing a talk on her charity walk for Julia's House that she completed last September.
The walk - '24 Peaks in 24 Hours' - was undertaken by a team of hikers who were keen to raise funds and awareness of Julia's House, a local children's Hospice and Family support unit based in Wimborne and Devizes. Come and see Amy's slide show of photos and hear her anecdotes about the trip, what she gained from it and how wonderful it was to have so much support from the local community, friends, family and customer's. We look forward to seeing you all there. We also hope to have a representative from Julia's House to explain how the raised money is spent and how you could support that wonderful charity.
