Penicuik Papermaking Heritage Museum

Come and visit Penicuik Papermaking Heritage Museum. It’s open Saturday afternoons (1.00 - 3.30 pm). By arrangement we can open at other times for groups. Admission is FREE, although we do gratefully accept contributions for upkeep.

Have you ever wondered why Penicuik exists as a town and why it was world-famous for papermaking? Yes, you can also make paper yourself!
