Treetops Circus Puppet Show & Craft

Roll up! Roll up! Roll up! Count Cuckoo’s Treetop Circus is coming to a woodland near you! Watch in wonder at the nimble fingered, nut-cracking escapades of Little Red the Juggler. Prepare to be astounded by the high energy hijinks of Grey Trix the Magician. Hold your breath in disbelief at the gravity-defying aerial antics of Dartmoor's own marvellous mustelid The Flying Marten…

Set in the ancient woodlands of Dartmoor, ‘The Treetop Circus’ is a strange, silly, mad and magical puppet show for families, created by Sarah Vigars (puppeteer) and Louis Bingham (musician) of Flying with Strings Marionette Theatre. Building on the success of their first show 'Flying with Strings’, Sarah and Louis have been commissioned by Libraries Unlimited to create a new piece of work, inspired by the Two Moors Pine Marten project, a re-wilding endeavour that has reintroduced once native pine martens back to Dartmoor and Exmoor.

Your ticket covers a 30 minute performance followed by a short break and finally, a craft workshop.

This event is for families with children aged 5-11. Tickets are £3 per child and free for up to one accompanying adult, bookable through Chagford Library. Spaces limited.
