Nashville singer-songwriter CJ Field brings his Grammy-nominated skills to Peoria Heights on July 5, with Peoria singer-songwriter Kirk Wessler opening the show.
CJ has shared the performance stage with nationally acclaimed artists Ashley McBryde, Pam Tillis, Trombone Shorty and more. He frequently collaborates on songwriting projects with McBryde, including "Home Sweet Highway," featured on her hit album "Girl Going Nowhere," which earned Grammy, CMA and ACM award nominations. CJ's new album, "Cannonball," was released this spring. He plays more than 100 shows a year throughout the United States.
Kirk performs regularly in Central Illinois and released his debut album of original music, "Homestyle Acoustic by Kirk Wessler," in 2024. He has shared stages with Chicago Farmer, emily the band, Front Street Collective and more.
Admission is free, but donations are encouraged and will benefit veterans in the Peoria area through CJ's "Fight 4 Them Veterans Foundation."
