Music at Fox Creek Farm: Sunday, August 3, from 5-8 p.m. Bluegrass band Serene Green with opener Faith Noel.
Serene Green is a traditional bluegrass band from Northeastern PA featuring Quentin Fisher, Michael Johnson, Steve Leonard, Katelynn Casper and Sam Zolla. Serene Green's desire is to honor the traditional side of bluegrass demonstrated by the pioneers of the genre, while also showcasing its original compositions and uniqueness. Since the band's inception in 2017, Serene Green has played in three countries, more than 20 states, performed at countless festivals and venues alongside many nationally and internationally touring acts, and released three studio albums.
Faith Noel is a Nashville recording artist, singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Her first appearance was at the Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival at the age of 12, singing with Rhonda Vincent. In 2020 Faith received the Seven Mountains Bluegrass Association (SMBA) Rising Artist Scholarship Award. In 2021 Faith received the SMBA Dick Laird Memorial Scholarship Award and is a five-time Central PA Music Awards (CPMA) nominee and a two-time CPMA Winner.
