Arts for All: Weaving a Berry Basket

Weave your very own berry basket! In this class led by fiber artist Barbara Boughton, you'll make a quart-size basket suitable for berries, cherry tomatoes or small treasures. With personalized instruction, students will weave the base, upset the stakes, weave the sides, attach a rim and lash the basket together. A perfect introductory course for first-time weavers and future projects!
Barbara is a fiber artist working in the traditions of spinning, weaving and basketry. She is a longtime instructor at the Adirondack Folk School and at Saratoga Arts, and her work has been exhibited across New York.
