The 8th Annual Alex Gadomski Cup

The Alex Gadomski Cup between St Virgil’s College and The Hutchins School.

In its 8th year, this football match is a Year 9/10 game and aims to honour one of SVC's former students, Alex Gadomski, and to raise awareness and much-needed funds for the Alex Gadomski Fellowship, all in order to find a cure for bone marrow failure.

2025 will again see 2 curtain raiser matches between the two schools played before the main match.

Curtain Raiser 1 Year 5/6 - 11.00 am
Curtain Raiser 2 Year 7/8 - 12.30 pm
Alex Gadomski Cup Year 9/10 - 2.30 pm
(Doubles as Round 2 of the Year 9/10 SSATIS Roster)

All Old Boys of both schools, current students, and family/friends are encouraged to attend.

This event is open to the general public and is free of charge.

All matches will be played on the War Memorial Oval at The Hutchins School. Sausage sizzle and coffee van will be available, and donations are welcome.

Two great schools with plenty of sporting rivalry and tradition...coming together for a terrific cause.
