CR Live Streets Presents Swing Night on August 20

Join the City of Campbell River downtown on Shoppers Row for Swing Night, featuring Jen Hodge All Stars on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Gates open at 6:30 p.m.
Transport yourself back in time at Swing Night, featuring Jen Hodge All Stars! Dress in your best vintage attire—poodle skirts, zoot suits, and all—for a night full of classic cars, swing music and dancing. The Forbidden Dance Company will help you master the moves of the era, so whether you're new to swing or a seasoned dancer, you’ll be able to get into the groove. Swing Night will have everyone dancing the night away.
It’s free to attend all CR Live Streets events!
This event is licensed. Food trucks will be on site, and refreshments will be available to purchase. The City will offer a free bike valet beginning at 6:30 p.m., and BC Transit is offering free fares on transit service from 5 p.m. until the last trip on all fixed routes.
CR Live Streets is an award-winning City of Campbell River summer event series. CR Live Streets is put on by the City in partnership with Tidemark Theatre and working with Highway 19 Concerts.
