Kids/Family Try It Pottery Wheel Class

Do you want to try the pottery wheel? Here is your chance! In this 2 hour class you will learn to center the clay, and form a basic small bowl/pot, and we will talk about trimming, and the firing process. The $55 cost includes the lesson, and one piece fired twice and glaze. If you choose to make additional pieces within the lesson time, the cost will be $20 each additional piece. We then clean the wheels at the end of the class. Wear clothing that can get messy, we may have some aprons available (you can bring your own apron/towel, clay will wash out), and short/trimmed fingernails is best (long nails prevents you from properly forming). ***The nature of clay and firing means that pieces may crack or explode in the drying or firing process...we will do our best to accommodate any catastrophic failures. ** No refunds or rescheduling due to limited class size and availability (class can be transferred to another person, just inform us of the name change) ** This kids class is for ages 10+ (if a parent wants to take the class with their child please sign up for the kids class, not the adult class).
