This studio experience will inspire you to think about line differently. The purpose of this class is to expose artists to a wide variety of tools, processes, and ideas and to engage them in varied technical exercises with an emphasis on adapting process to expand and refine their own unique visual expression. To fully explore your visual language, having a toolkit of line techniques can be invaluable.
Whether you’re new to encaustic painting or highly experienced, there will be something in this workshop that is relevant for you. Through demonstrations, exercises, and hands on experience you’ll explore line using batik tools, wax writers, drawing materials, stencils, mixed media, and wax inlays. Throughout the workshop we will discuss studio set up and safety. Participants will be exposed to a range of encaustic techniques suitable for all levels of experience.
Cost: $500 - Preregistration Required.
