Wateke by the Water

We're so excited, and hope you'll join us at our Wateke by the Water celebration! A wateke is a laid back social gathering typical in the Caribbean islands and coasts where the community would come to together in harmony to share music, food and culture. Our wateke will honor our ancestors and relatives l with tradtional Indigenous Caribbean ( Taino, Arawak, Caribe) music, storytelling and Tradtional Wampanoag social songs
We will all have food trucks,a resource fair, local and Indigenous vendors, live artists, face painting, kayak rentals and more!
